"Nowatla Shan" is a new generation of dual-fuel ship with independent intellectual property rights developed and designed by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding. It is the sister ship of "Bilxi Shan" delivered earlier this year. The hull is 299.50 meters long, 50 meters wide, 25.20 meters deep, 18.40 meters design draft, design draft speed of 14 knots, classed in the American Bureau of Shipping. The ship is powered by LNG fuel and conventional fuel diesel. It is equipped with two C-type LNG fuel tanks and has a gas range of 20,000 nautical miles. It is capable of completing two round trips between China and Australia or one round trip between China and Brazil at a time. In LNG fuel mode, the ship basically eliminates particulate matter and sulfide emissions, meets the requirements of the INTERNATIONAL Maritime Organization (IMO) Phase IV specification, and has "green, environmental protection, energy saving, safety" and other remarkable features.
